French Equatorial Africa

A federation of former French colonies in Central Africa, stretching from the Sahara to the Congo River, comprising the following colonised countries (present names as independent republics in parentheses if different): Chad, French Congo (Republic of the Congo), Gabon and Ubangi-Shari (Central African Republic).
