Dinckley

释义与例句

name
  1. 1.

A civil parish of Blackburn with Darwen district, Lancashire, England.

词源

Dinkidele (1246). Probably at least partially from Cumbric, from Proto-Brythonic *din (“fort”) + *koɨd (“forest”), with Old English leah (“clearing”) added later. Or else, the second element may be equivalent to Welsh celli (“grove”).
