词源

Most likely a semantically disintegrated formation Exodus + -ia. There is no evident etymological connection between the name and Exodia's lore. This goes so far that the early 2000s German translation of the card name "Exodia the forbidden one" indicated that the translators had mistaken Exodia as feminine ("Exodia, die Verbotene") because of the feminine ending while Exodia is clearly a male creature. There also exists a card called "Exodius the ultimate forbidden lord" which apparently is a retrain of the original Exodia.
